Wear the faceGlove mini under your stretch-tube to create a full-face mask that doesn’t block breathing.  Moldable, precisely cut in 3 sizes, and made from the perfect POLARTEC soft-shell fabric, the faceGlove mini is thoughtfully designed to keep you warm, dry, and able to function like you’re not wearing a mask at all.

SKU: FGC Category:

faceGlove mini:

size Small: under 5′ 3″ and under 130 lbs, Kids ages 8+, size XS/S helmet.

size Medium: 5’3″-6′, 130-210 lbs, size M/L helmet

size Large: Over 6′ tall, over 210 lbs, size XL helmet

If you are between sizes, I recommend the larger mask.

Material:  Our “Goldilocks” soft-shell fabric, POLARTEC Power Shield, really is just right for about all conditions.   Power Shield is thin, light, and highly wind and water-resistant.  It has an abrasion-resistant, woven nylon face, super-soft fleece back, and 4-way stretch.

Mold-ability:  A thin, polypropylene-coated wire contained within the bottom edge of the faceGlove Classic makes it possible to form your mask to the contours of your face, and holds it in place in the wind.

Targeted Protection:  faceGlove Classic’s patent-pending, nose-tip-pocket precisely protects the most sensitive part of your face from frostbite, without blocking your breathing.

Straps:  Innovative, interchangeable head-straps and ear-loops lend versatility, and extend mask life.

This is a fantastic product that was way overdue. I have been making my own soft fabric ones for years but the mold-ability of the TS is far better.
    5 Stars for sure!!!!

I have been making my own similar to this but kept losing it. The moldability and head strap make this far more exceptional. Great job. I have been marketing this to all my friends so sales may be increasing. Great product, well made and easy to customize! I have been making my own soft fabric ones for years but the mold-ability of the TS is far better. This is a fantastic product that was way overdue. 5 Stars for sure!!!!

Conditions at Pico over the MLK weekend were a bit challenging – Friday temps near 50 with rain all day, Saturday temps down into the teens, then down to -10* overnight, Sunday temps steady at about 10* all day with light winds near 10 mph.

Was sporting my FaceGlove classic all day Sunday and got several questions in the lodge about it – most folks recognized the utility of having a covering over one’s cheeks and nose without covering the mouth (which I can’t stand!). Kept me nice and toasty when paired with a Buff over my head and chin (hood/balaclava style just under my mouth).

The Outeru FaceGlove classic is an outstanding product. Skiing in Vermont in late December 2017 and early January 2018 we experienced -20 temps with wind and I was able to cover my face properly and stay comfortable. I’ll never ski below zero temps again without it! Very effective and comfortable to wear!!

Bought my first OuterU classic several years ago and love it. Very comfortable. Stays in place and protects exposed skin.

I love the outerU Faceglove Classic! Finally, a facemask-type product I can wear. It is very comfortable and not restrictive. I got my first outeru last season after seeing a friend wearing one. I was super excited with how well it works. I have been spreading the word on how great they are whenever I get a chance. The company provides great customer service!

Our whole team bought the Outeru for Everest in May 2017. It took a bit of getting used to in terms of layering with a oxygen system but the Outeru far became the most important part of our face protection system. We saw so many other groups experience frost nip and worse through exposed skin between their eye protection and face mask. An Outeru would have prevented all of these. Definitely a must have for cold weather climbing with or without a mask breathing system.
